A Mind Seeped

A Mind Seeped
Weep my burning eyes and quench the desert that has become my face,
Weep you starless skies and fill the void that is now empty space.
Damn you emotion, damn you delight,
I was better off without you, till I extinguished the light.
So now I weep tears of blood, but not of my own,
Patient, methodical, simply put, I am alone.
I have filled my void, moistened my face,
But who I once was no longer remains, not even a trace.
Who would join me, sorrows be told,
Where tears are a luxury and emptiness devours the soul.
